Meet Our Professional Racquet Staff

Jayson Memken - Director of Tennis, USPTA
Jayson comes to Western from Brookfield, WI, where he was the Program Director at Highlander Elite. Jayson has been teaching as a full-time pro for 10 years. He played college tennis at Carroll College and holds the school's all-time wins record (played 1 singles and doubles in all 4 years). During his time in Brookfield, Jayson led the High Performance groups and had 27 players qualify for state in 2013, 10 of which were seeded. He has helped three of his students claim the state title and several of his students have gone on to play Division I college tennis. Jayson brings an exceptional knowledge of tennis, along with programming ideas for the juniors that will enhance the tennis experience at Western!

Mark Thomas
Mark is the club owner and finance director. He has over 15 years of tennis teaching experience. He played college tennis for Marquette University and is the head coach of the UW-Green Bay Men's Tennis Team.

Jacqueline Burdette - Tennis Professional, USPTA
Jacqueline comes to Western Racquet and Fitness Club from Oxford, MS.  Jacqueline has been teaching tennis for over 15 years.  She was a Tennis Professional at Oxford Park Commission where she led Cardio Tennis, taught individual and group lessons, and was a leader in Quick Start tennis classes.  Jacqueline played her college tennis at the University of South Florida.  She was a team captain, all conference player, and achieved an ITA national doubles ranking of 45.

Nick Caramehas III - Tennis Professional
Nick, a native of Green Bay, has returned to join the staff at Western Racquet & Fitness Club.  Nick has been involved in the sport of tennis as a player, coach and teaching professional for most of his life. He has over 18 years of teaching and coaching experience. The respect he commands from the players he works with today is bolstered by what he achieved during his playing days. He was on the professional staff at Four Seasons Indoor Tennis Club where he served as Technical Director.  He has national and international coaching experience where he has worked with players in the junior, collegiate and professional ranks. His coaching responsibilities have taken him all over the United States and around the world.‚Äč

Francisco Guazzone - Tennis Professional, PTR
Fran comes to Western from Argentina, where he has been teaching for the past nine years. He has taught juniors of all levels and several of the female students that he has coached have received professional points towards their WTA ranking.

Rick Klingbile - Tennis Professional, USPTA
Rick has over 17 years of teaching experience. In that time, he has taught players of all levels, ranging from four-year-old beginners to advanced high school students to collegiate players. As well as coaching numerous juniors, Rick also works with adults, including those who have never played before to advanced competitive players, with players ranging in age from their mid 20s through their 80s and even 90s.  Rick is a member of the United States Professional Teaching Association (USPTA) and has achieved a Pro 1 accreditation. Rick has taught at Western for over 14 years. In addition to teaching tennis, Rick is the club's head stringer and has an extensive knowledge of tennis and racquetball equipment.
