Meet The Team Captains

Tad Taggart

Team: Allouez Animal Hospital
(Team 1)

Tad is a personal trainer at Western Racquet & Fitness Club and is something of a "Jack of all trades". He has a personal background in fitness that includes long-distance running, powerlifting, bodybuilding, yoga, boxing, and cardio-kickboxing. He previously studied exercise science and kinesiology near Milwaukee, where his training career began. After graduating from Carroll University, he came back home to Green Bay to pursue a second degree in nutrition and dietetics. Tad's philosophy is "healthiness" and "happiness" are synonymous. Considering this, everyone has different needs in their approach to fitness, but the ultimate goal for everyone is to feel better physically and emotionally. This belief is what guides his style of delivering consistently new, fun, and engaging programs for every personal training session and group fitness class he designs.

I am a proud mother of two teenagers. If you asked me what my greatest accomplishment in life is, I would tell you Noah and Maryssa. Outside of my motherhood pride, I was the Race Director for the Cellcom Green Bay Marathon and the Festival Foods Turkey Trots until recently. At the beginning of December, I took on a new challenge as the Director of Partnerships and Community Engagement for the Greater Green Bay Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.I’m a huge believer in living your best life and loving where you live. I have run countless marathons including the Boston Marathon and Chicago Marathon. I have run the Fall 50 Solo and came in 4th. I have completed Ironman Wisconsin and have “inked” myself to prove it! What I also want to say is I drink beer, eat pizza, go out with friends, and love to travel. I believe whole heartedly in working to stay healthy but keeping balance in life and not foregoing the fun stuff.

Meet the Team Behind the Scenes

Shane McMullen

BS, CWP
Prevea Health & Wellness Coach

Shane has been working in the fitness/health care field now for 10 plus years and really enjoys working with others by being able to bring the best in those he works with. His philosophy is to allow each person he works with to set their own goals and then, he works with them to help achieve and maintain those goals. By allowing the individuals to identify the goals that are meaningful to them, it allows for sustained success and internal motivation can come much easier when the goals have a personal side to them. When you allow someone to find their “why” you are able to accomplish goals you may not have felt were always possible.

Outside of work Shane enjoys spending time with my family which includes his wife, three kids (soon to be four) and two dogs. They like spending time outside playing sports, going for bike rides, playing fetch with the dogs and running races. Shane likes to get involved with his kids youth sports and volunteering for their school throughout the year. Some hobbies of Shane’s include playing basketball, working out and doing the occasional 5k, 10k or half marathon when he really wants to be dedicated to running.

Danielle encourages her clients through positive changes by identifying barriers, as well as setting small achievable goals that add up to big changes. She recognizes each of us are on our own journey and will help her clients find the right path for them. She enjoys working with her clients to become the best version of themselves, body, heart, and mind.
