The Health Coaching program will help you find what works for you, help eliminate obstacles blocking your success, and keep you motivated.

Health coaching is not only about health and fitness, but overall well being. Alexis has helped me build a road map to overcoming postpartum depression and anxiety. Alexis is a great listener, very professional and non judge-mental. She has help me to process and work through many emotions that are sometimes difficult to understand. Within the first few sessions, I've seen a lot of change in myself. She has given me tools to move forward to living an overall healthy lifestyle. Everyone would benefit with health coaching.

Alexis is the most talented food/diet/weight loss coach/health coach person I have ever worked with! Her customized approach to creating a plan for me has helped me change my lifestyle. The biggest hurdle for most people when trying to lose weight and improve your health is consistency. Alexis takes consistency to the next level. Through meeting times, journaling, and specific goals she gives you the tools to be successful. Her entire approach to health coaching provides you with sustainability, which is the key to any lifestyle change. I would highly recommend Alexis as a health coach to help further your health and fitness journey!

Health coaching with Alexis has been such an incredible journey of self-discovery! She really gives you the tools, resources, and understanding you need to dig deep into whatever it is that's stopping you from achieving your goals in all different aspects of life. She really has a special talent for gentle guidance and accountability and has a keen listening ear. Whatever your goals might be - health, fitness, professional, personal, creative - Alexis can really help you uncover the obstacles in your path you might have never even realized were there and figure out how to overcome them. If you're ready to start learning how to live authentically and achieve your goals, I cannot recommend Health Coaching with Alexis enough!

Alexis has a special way of getting you to open up. Yes, we talked about my workouts and my nutrition, but we also looked at why those parts of my life were lacking, and tried to find the underlying reason behind it. She gently reminded me that I am human, and we all fall backwards and make mistakes, and I really needed that. Having someone like Alexis in my life, someone I was able to talk to and not feel judged, I will be forever grateful for. I will never be perfect but with her guidance and knowledge, I was able to adjust a few things in my life and get myself back to a place I feel genuinely happy! Please connect with her, I promise, you will not regret it!

Staying Active In The Summer

For the serious traveller, Traveller Magazine is a mine of information, keeping you up-to-date with the latest trends in travel and tourism.

Are you looking to mix up your fitness routine this summer? Being active for 60 minutes can be fun if you find activities you enjoy. Even get your kids involved in the summer activities planning!

Here are some fun ways to stay active this summer:

Mental Health Awareness Month

For the serious traveller, Traveller Magazine is a mine of information, keeping you up-to-date with the latest trends in travel and tourism.

We all face challenges in our lives that can impact our mental health, and everyone experiences something different. Mental health conditions are more common than you may think. Some people don’t like to talk about them or might be scared to. But you are not alone...

Happy Earth Day!

For the serious traveller, Traveller Magazine is a mine of information, keeping you up-to-date with the latest trends in travel and tourism.

Earth Day is celebrated annually on the 22nd of April. And this year marks 50 years of Earth Day! In 1970 the idea for the first Earth Day was proposed to have one day to focus on the environment. Each action we do can either help or hurt our planet. Many unfortunate events happen to our Earth: using plastic, oil spills, pollution, and wiping out forests. And our Earth needs us now more than ever.

Stress & Humor

For the serious traveller, Traveller Magazine is a mine of information, keeping you up-to-date with the latest trends in travel and tourism.

April is National Stress Awareness Month and National Humor Month. What a perfect pair!

National Stress Awareness month began in 1992 to bring attention to the health risks associated with stress and strategies for coping with it. Stress is not always a bad thing and we also cannot get rid of it completely. It is a normal reaction to everyday pressures we face, but it can become unhealthy when it upsets your day-to-day functioning.

There are several types of stress we face at different times in our lives. Everyone has their own unique stressors, and everyone handles stress in different ways. So, what works for one person might not work for the next.

Sleep Awareness Month

For the serious traveller, Traveller Magazine is a mine of information, keeping you up-to-date with the latest trends in travel and tourism.

National Sleep Awareness Month is observed in March annually. This is a great opportunity to stop and think about your sleep habits and how to improve them. Also, the second Sunday in March is Daylight Savings where we get to “spring ahead” and advance our clocks one hour. “Spring ahead” and “fall back” may affect you more than you know, so it is important to be aware of your sleep and your health. How have you been sleeping lately? How much sleep are you getting? What is the quality of your sleep? How is your sleep, or lack of, impacting your well-being?

Random Acts of Kindness

For the serious traveller, Traveller Magazine is a mine of information, keeping you up-to-date with the latest trends in travel and tourism.

Random Acts of Kindness Day is Monday, February 17th and kicks off a week-long celebration for Random Acts of Kindness Week! This day and week are celebrated nationwide to encourage others to engage in a random act of kindness. It doesn’t take much to be kind, but it can make a huge difference in someone else’s life. Random acts of kindness do not have to be extravagant. Something as simple as smiling at someone, holding the door open, or letting someone cut in front of you in a traffic jam are all ways to be kind to others. Read on to see some random acts of kindness experienced by Western staff members!

Take Care of You in 2020

For the serious traveller, Traveller Magazine is a mine of information, keeping you up-to-date with the latest trends in travel and tourism.

Would you let your cellphone battery die? What about letting your vehicle run out of gas? Why is it that we usually care for our valuables more than we do ourselves?

When life gets busy, it may be hard to fit everything into your day, especially self-care. Trying to excel in your career, maintain a social life, eat nutritious meals, drink enough water, sleep, exercise, and care for your family. The list could go on and on. But how can you find that balance in your life by making time for yourself?

Making New Year's Resolutions Stick

For the serious traveller, Traveller Magazine is a mine of information, keeping you up-to-date with the latest trends in travel and tourism.

The new year is right around the corner and you may start thinking of what New Year’s Resolution you are going to set for 2020. However, the new year is not meant to change yourself completely. Instead, it is a time to reflect on the past year’s behaviors and promise yourself to make positive lifestyle changes in the coming year. I want to help you make that resolution stick by creating some lifestyle changes!
