Katie DuBois
Katie DuBois
NSCA Certified Personal Trainer
Over the years, Katie has developed a love for all things wellness and living a healthy lifestyle. From fitness, to nutrition, to mental health, Katie enjoys helping coach others to become the best version of themselves. Growing up as a competitive soccer player and alpine ski racer, Katie learned to enjoy all kinds of movement, and pushing herself. In 2015 she began exploring how exercise could positively impact her day, and truly found joy and a better quality of life.
In 2017, Katie joined the staff at Western as a Group Exercise Instructor, earning her GFI certification through NETA in 2019, along with various other Group Exercise certifications. Over the years, she has taught a variety of class formats, and her energy and spunk are palpable and contagious in the classes she continues to teach each week. In 2018, Katie became a Rock Steady Boxing Coach where she is passionate about helping people living with Parkinson's Disease, a role she was inspired to pursue after experiencing her step-dad’s fight against the disease. And in 2019 Katie became the Corporate Wellness Director at Western, building partnerships and fostering wellbeing in our community. It only seemed natural to become a Certified Personal Trainer as well, an accolade she now holds through the NSCA.
Katie enjoys empowering people to “find their why” in living a healthy lifestyle, puts extra emphasis on proper form and technique, and loves to get people out of their comfort zone to show them their true potential. She enjoys working with people from all walks of life, ages and abilities, and has a passion for helping people feel better in their daily lives.
Outside of her various roles at Western, Katie is also a wife and a mother of two kids, Adler and Audrey. She loves going on adventures, being outside, skiing, golfing, lifting weights and spending time with her friends and family.
