Zach Barfknecht
NASM Certified Personal Trainer
Zach is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay with a degree in Exercise Science. His passion for fitness began at a young age when his hockey coach encouraged him to train at home, sparking a lifelong interest in strength and movement. This passion grew throughout his time on his high school powerlifting team, where he developed not only his own skills but also a love for mentoring others, eventually earning the role of team captain.
For Zach, fitness is about more than just physical health—it’s a lifestyle and a source of empowerment. He strives to instill confidence in his clients, helping them uncover their inner strength and realize their potential. His approach emphasizes proper form to maximize results and prevent injury while teaching clients the “why” behind every movement to build understanding and independence. Fascinated by the adaptability of the human body, Zach values lifelong learning and continually seeks to expand his expertise in biomechanics and exercise science.
Outside of training, he enjoys woodworking, spending time with his wife Kayla, and keeping up with their energetic miniature goldendoodle, Stella. Whether in the gym or at home, Zach is dedicated to helping others and himself grow stronger every day.
